Six multispectrally scanned 3D plants gradually shift from natural RGB coloration into spectral forms aligned with non-human perceptual worlds. Their soundscapes evolve accordingly\u2014from field recordings to sonified translations of spectral data\u2014revealing patterns of light absorption, pigment-driven coloration, photosynthetic activity, and plant vitality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These resonances of light make visible and audible the delicate processes through which plants transform light into life, offering an experiential entry point into imagining symbiotic futures across naturally\u2013artificial urban environments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The showcase is curated by <\/span><b>Daria Mille (NAIA, Karlsruhe)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> as part of <\/span><b>Smart Picnic: Sensing the City<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, curated by <\/span><b>Seungah Lee (Urban Art Lab, Seoul)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at the Miro Center, Gwangju.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Connection to SensUs Karlsruhe<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In parallel with the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Light Resonances AR<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> presentation in Gwangju and the Metaverse, the <\/span><b>NAIA in Karlsruhe<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is organizing\u00a0 a local showcase of artworks from the <\/span><b>SensUs:\u00a0 Symbiotic Cities<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> project taking place as a part of\u00a0 <\/span><b>SensUs Studio Opening Program<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on Thursday, December 5, at 19.00 at Lessingstr. 25, 76135 Karlsruhe (just 8 minutes walk from ZKM).<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>SensUs XR Showcase \u2013 Karlsruhe<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>When:<\/b><b><br \/><\/b><b>Thursday, December 4, 19:00<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SensUs Studio Opening<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> featuring presentations of Light Resonance AR and Solarceptors VR by Rasa Smite and Raitis Smits, along with showcases of other SensUs AR artworks.
